Where was the home birth place of Abraham?
Temple of a God
Since Abraham is associated with the peoples of the land of Cannan, just where did he come from? It is known, He came from a place called Shinar, or better known as Ur Of The Chaldees
Ur was located in the Mesopotamia region between the two Tigris and Euphrates rivers near the Persian Gulf.
Ur was the City of the Temple of the God Nanna, babylonian Sin. Ur was under his command. They were his people and served him greatly.
Now since Ur was the City of Nanna and they were his peoples Abraham must have at one time worshiped or slaved for Nanna.
Yes he did, and it should have been that God that sent Abraham on a mission to Cannan. Remember what the bible said:
"When Terah had lived seventy years, he became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Harran. Now these are the descendants of Terah. Terah was the father of Abram, Nahor, and Harran; and Harran was the father of Lot. Harran died before his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans." (Genesis 11:26-28)
So Abraham and his father, both, came from the City of Ur of the Chaldeans.
For a long time, Historians and Scholars, didn't even know Ur existed. Someone by the name of George Smith found the clay tablets of Ashurbanipal in Assyria.
He and many other Archeologist found many thousands of clay tablets written by the Ancient Scribes of that area.
George Smith wrote a book called The Chaldean Account of Genesis. One interested in learning the true history of mankind needs to study that book.

Lets look at a Sumerian God List to understand what Gods we are talking about.
There was The father, his name was ANU the Most High of the Heavens.
Then there was the first Son his name was Enki, He was Lord of Water and Wisdom: Enki emits streams from his shoulders; he is the god who gave rulers their intelligence and who provided craftsmen with their skills.
Then there was Enlil, God of Air and Storms, son of An and Ki: Enlil is credited with separating the heavens from earth and, therefore, described as the "father of the gods," "king of the universe," "king of all lands." For about a thousand years after 2500 B.C., Enlil is supreme ruler of Sumerian pantheon of gods and guardian of the city of Nippur; he is credited with raising up the "seed of the land" and with bringing "whatever is needful" into existence. Enlil is said to have been responsible for the me, a set of universal laws governing all existence.
These were just three of the main Gods but there were others. So lets look at the God of Abraham.
Well being that Abraham came from Ur no doubt he worshiped Sumerian Gods.
It is very probable, that it was Nanna that sent Abraham on a mission to the land of Cannan. Cannan also was under the command of Nanna, so what was Abraham's mission to that land?
Before we answer that, lets look at what the bible said regarding the god of Abraham and his family. This is the God of Israel. It say's this:
"Thus says The Lord see the God of Israel, 'Your fathers lived of old beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods. Then I took your father Abraham from beyond the River and led him through all the land of Canaan, and made his offspring many. I gave him Isaac; and to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. And I gave Esau the hill country of Seir to possess, but Jacob and his children went down to Egypt."
Did you notice it said they served other gods! So was this a different god then instead of Nanna? But lets look at what the bible says about that commission Nanna gave to Abraham. Notice this:
"Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai [i.e. Sarah] his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife, and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan; but when they came to Haran, they settled there. The days of Terah were two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran."
Now this is some of the History of the life of Abram and his family.
I personally think the God above that was speaking is either Nanna or someone taking credit for something he really didn't do. Now if you look at those text rightly that can't be Nanna because he was one of the Gods of old. Unless he is double talking. Or it could be someone associated with him that knew the history of Abraham. But for sure, whoever he was, he was in charge.
So Harran was the target City where Abraham and his father was to go. But wasn't Abraham just an ordinary person? Well one would think so, but that wasn't the case. If he was why did his lord say this:
"Now The Lord said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse; and by you all the families of the earth shall bless themselves."
Now think about those text we just read, it said the Lord said to Abram.
So Abraham was more important then what meets the eye. But understand this.
Some say, that the father of Abraham, Te-rah, was a Idol Worshiper and the Gods he worshiped wasn't real. But let me remind you of the time Nanna ruled Ur, this was some of that time, the lives of Abraham and his father Te-rah.
Who was Terah? Was he very important? lets let wikipedia help us, it says:
Terah is a biblical figure in the book of Genesis, son of Nahor, son of Serug and father of the Patriarch Abraham, all descendants of Shem. He is mentioned in the Hebrew bible.
This is the Biblical account of the man Terah:
This is the account of Terah’s family line.
Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot. While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans, in the land of his birth. Abram and Nahor both married. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milkah; she was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milkah and Iskah. Now Sarai was childless because she was not able to conceive.
Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there.
Now it seems there are some people that don't like the father of Abraham because they said this of him:
Terah's occupation. Terah was a wicked idolatrous priest who manufactured idols. In Jewish tradition, Abram is considered to be the eldest of three sons who was opposed to his father’s idol shop. After Abram smashed his father’s idols and chased customers away, Terah brought his unruly son before Nimrod, who threw him into a fiery furnace, yet Abram miraculously escaped. The Zohar says that when God saved Abram from the furnace, Terah repented and Rabbi Abba B. Kahana said that God assured Abram that his father Terah had a portion in the World to Come. http://classiclit.about.com/library/bl-etexts/lginzberg/bl-lginzberg-legends-1-5b.htm
What is quoted there comes not from Christians, but from the Legends of the Jews supposedly. But if you read any of it you will notice it conflicts with the Bible. It even talks about an angels taking Abram in the air and showing him some stuff that could only be seen from some type of aircraft. Also if you read carefully you can find some lies.
However, because of the ancient writings we know Terah was High Priest to Nanna and maybe other Sumerian Gods. He had just as much right to be Priest to Nanna as any other priest of any God.
So those words from the bible had to come into play when Nanna was the God of Ur and it was Nanna that Abraham and Terah served in the temple. What is written in the Torah is like what is written in the bible. If this is true History then look what i found, pay careful attention to this. It is the birth of Abraham:
When her time approached, she left the city in great terror and wandered toward the desert, walking along the edge of a valley, until she happened across a cave. She entered this refuge, and on the next day she was seized with throes, and she gave birth to a son. The whole cave was filled with the light of the child's countenance as with the splendor of the sun, and the mother rejoiced exceedingly. The babe she bore was our father Abraham.
This reader, is the son of one of the GODS. That's why Abram was so important.
The description of the birth reminds me of the birth of Noah. Noah's father said this is not my son because of his strange appearance. And in giving the description of what he looked like when he was born, he said, He looks like one of the Gods.
Now according to this information someone else is involved. But who? Speaking of Abram it said:
His birth had been read in the stars by Nimrod, for this impious king was a cunning astrologer, and it was manifest to him that a man would be born in his day who would rise up against him and triumphantly give the lie to his religion.
Humm, wonder what God said this? It seems to be associated with Babylon.
And the God of Babylon was Marduk. Was it him? But look what else is said:
"The Eternal, He is the One Only God, and there is none beside. He is the God of the heavens, and the God of the gods, and the God of Nimrod. Acknowledge this as the truth, all ye men, women, and children. Acknowledge also that I am Abraham His servant, the trusted steward of His house." This is from Legends of the Jews. And it speaks like Abram is associated with Babylonian people more or less.
But what God said this, wasn't it Nanna or Marduk? This is from the Bible;
The answer is, maybe. This sounds like this was a new God. This God came into play only after the people of Abraham was in slaved by Egypt for 400 years. In other words, if this was him, Nanna or Marduk he was missing for 400 years. But remember what the Bible said: "Your fathers lived of old beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods."
Realize this, Abraham and his father was dead for a long time, when those words was expressed by the God that delivered them from Egypt. So who was this new God and where did he come from? Was it Nanna or Marduk?
At this point let us profile this new God and see if he qualifies as the real GOD of Love that people worship. On to Profile of God.
